”[…] He’s faster than hell. He’s the fastest guy on Earth, so that gives him a certain cockiness. Everybody’s so slow to him. He’s a little impatient, and he’s a funny guy. A fun character.” - Evan Peters on Quicksilver
I hate when I’m in class, working on my personal writing and someone leans over and goes “WHat R U wRITing” like your eulogy if you don’t back the fuck up you soggy lampshade
The description for the move Trick~or~Treat in Pokemon is pretty cute and all, but…
"The user takes the target trick-or-treating. This adds Ghost type to the target’s type."
Take a moment to think about this. Litwick is known for stealing souls. Dusknoir is known for ferrying living and dead spirits to the underworld, and Shedinja’s hole in its back can steal the souls of whomever looks into it.
Now imagine: A child who recently carved a pumpkin prepares for Halloween. This child’s parents left for a party that night and decided the child was mature enough to be okay home alone that night. The pumpkin is possessed by the little black thingy on a Pumpkaboo, and this Pumpkaboo is all friendly and cute with the kid. The two become friends and the child, being lonely, plays with the Pumpkaboo, and makes a cute costume with it.
So the Pumpkaboo takes the kid trick or treating. After a night of silly fun and playing, the parents return home to the child missing and a bunch of missing candy. All night the parents look for their lost child, but to no avail. In the final hours of the night, the parents are in their home, sobbing and clutching one another in despair. The door opens up and the parents feel a cold breeze, but no one is there. The child’s spirit goes over to their parents and asks why they are crying, but gets no answer. They try their hardest to ask what’s wrong over and over, only to knock over a picture of the family and shatter the frame, resulting in the parents freaking out and the mother shouting "GET AWAY EVIL SPIRIT! GIVE US BACK OUR CHILD!!!" The child watches and begins to cry, wanting mommy and daddy to stop yelling, but they continue to yell… Heart broken, the ghost of the child gives up, and the Pumpkaboo takes the ghost child’s hand, and softly says.
”Now we can be friends and trick-or-treat together forever.”
I wonder who first saw a horse and said “dude I want to sit on that thing and make it take me places”
